Infineon Technologies AG has introduced new current‑rating modules for its 1200 V TRENCHSTOP® IGBT7 family. This further enhances the Easy 1B and 2B product lines, enabling power solutions of up to 11 kW when combined with the latest chip technology in a PIM topology, or up to 22 kW in a six‑module topology. Customers can choose either to replace IGBT4 with IGBT7 technology to increase system power when using Easy 2B modules, or, in specific applications, to substitute an Easy 1B IGBT7 for an Easy 2B IGBT4, thereby reducing the board space required to achieve the same power level. Like the previously launched TRENCHSTOP IGBT7 Easy modules, these new current‑rating modules fully meet the design requirements of industrial drives.
